| Cooperating with the Holy Spirit |
The other day we spoke about the significance of grace, "a ray of Light Divine." Nothing replaces God's gift. |
Let's also remember that we have to cooperate with the grace God gives.
The deacon Philip was entrusted to speak to the Ethiopian official. (Acts 8) It was a powerful moment of grace....but Philip still had to open his mouth! God's grace was poured on both men but they each had to respond.
What grace is being poured out on you? Are you cooperating with the gift?
Remember; do not try to substitute God's gifts with anything else, but by all means do your part to go with the gifts God has poured out on you. You have to "open your mouth" in order for the Spirit to speak!
God give you courage to cooperate with the Holy Spirit : |
